Amaizin Soya Bean Noodles

When it comes to healthy eating, soy is a unique source of nutrients. Soya beans are rich in protein and therefore a good meat substitute. They also contain many unsaturated fatty acids, fibre, calcium and magnesium. Because soy has a low glycemic index, your blood sugar level remains stable.
The special properties of soybean were discovered more than 6000 years ago by the Chinese. For generations, they have concentrated on growing soya beans.

Noodles are an indispensable part of the Chinese meal. Besides wheat noodles, the Chinese have been producing noodles made from soya beans for centuries. These soya bean noodles are a wonderful, healthy alternative to wheat noodles and pasta. Because they have some special nutritional values:
– Low in Carbohydrates: 37g per 100g (cf. wheat noodles: 71g)
– Rich in high-quality protein (and therefore suitable for vegetarians!): 42g per 100g (cf. wheat noodles: 13g)
– Rich in fiber: 28g per 100g (cf. wheat noodles: 4g)
– Gluten
– Vegan

Soya bean noodles are delicious and can be used in all kinds of dishes. Great in Asian dishes, but also ideal for use in Italian cuisine as a substitute for pasta. Due to the high protein content you don’t have to add any extra proteins, such as meat, to your meal.

Cooking instruction: Bring a large pan with salted water to a boil. Add the noodles and cook for 7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain and serve, if desired serve with sauce or Amaizin curry.
